Lady Gaga Felt Doll
This was a present to someone who is a big fan of the mother monster. Be warned, recreating an Alexander Mcqueen in felt is no easy task!

The Fortunes Of War Tavern for Holborn Project
It is my intention to produce a small book part on Holborn's unsightly past.
I will focus on six buildings that all have a story to tell.
Each building is gone so i will be recreating all of the buildings as well as creating a map for them all to be placed within.
This building is The Fortunes of War Tavern.
The Inn was built after the great fire of 1666 and demolished in the 1900's.

Continuation Of Research For Walk
After researching various historical events and fictional stories that occurred in Holborn I decided to map the locations of these tales. Many of the buildings that these stories took place in are gone so just to see where they happened is useful.
The map is from a 1930's London Guide book published by Ward Lock and Co.

Walk, preliminary research
This project is about taking one area of central London and through independent personal research trying to develop a slant on an area. I have chosen Holborn as its a place that feels quite modern especially as most of it was carved up to make the one of the longest straight roads in London, Kingsway. The truth is very different and I've started by making a model of one of the oldest surviving buildings from 1557.

Finished page of 'The Old House In Vauxhall Walk'
Have been meaning to Illustrate this interesting little Victorian ghost story for a while.
The story concerns a young man who falls on bad times and is offered shelter in dilapidated townhouse with a disturbing history.
Really relishing not having to do structured Uni Projects,
hopefully ill have time to finish illustrating the whole thing.

Homegrown Shop Event
On Sunday the 12th of June myself and 6 other illustration students put on a one day (pop up) shop. The store was called 'Homegrown' and was situated just one minute from busy thoroughfare Brick Lane.
The theme of the store was markets, and each of us made handmade products inspired by products you might find in a food market stall. We made two wooden market stalls to sit in the shop to enhance this effect.
The weather wasn't on our side and we battled with torrents of rain all day.
Luckily the shop space we used had two floors so we were able to set up a cafe downstairs (selling cakes we made ourselves) for people to shelter from the rain.
On the whole the day was a brilliant success and we made £420.
